  • Cooperate with government agencies in administrative functions and maintenance of law enforcement.
  • Foster and perpetuate a spirit of good fellowship and fraternalism among it members.
  • Develop the interest and good will of the general public towards horsemen and horses.
  • Perpetuate that pioneer law-abiding spirit of our forefathers and their love of horses.

Our Mission statement is a work in progress right now and will need to be approved by our membership. The board is looking at updating it to reflect our values and goals for 2010. Currently they are considering:

SHA provides the community with opportunities for equine awareness and education, individual recreation, youth sponsorship and friendships, all while experiencing a "little bit of country in the city".
