Hoofprints is the official publication of the Sacramento Horsemen's Association. Traditionally, the publication was printed and distributed once monthly and was chock full of upcoming events, shows, trail rides, tack for sale, and equine-related articles.
SHA, and Hoofprints, are a part of California history. We are working hard to bring Hoofprints back to a quality communication tool for its members and the area.
One of the first changes for Hoofprints is to "Go Green" and put a virtual copy on line, which can be downloaded and printed from home. As postage, printing, and office supplies have skyrocketed, 'going green' will be a huge financial savings for the club. Those who do not have computer access can either pick up a hard-copy at the Dinner Meeting (where we will have Hoofprints on hand), or email the editor your snail mail address so she can put you on the 'paper' list, to be sent USPS.
We will also be working hard to beef up our advertising program. In the past, Hoofprints posted business cards, as well as For Sale sections for trailers, horses, and tack. Promoting these again will allow SHA members first chance at good deals, bring more revenue to the club and members.
